Syros tour- Kimisi Theotokou Church- Cycladic Art Museum -Arc. museum

At your arrival in the port of Syros (Hermoupolis) our modern, air-conditioning  coaches will be waiting to collect you and take you first to visit the church of KIMISI  THEOTOKOU  ( Assumption), to see the famous original icon of  Dominicos Theotokopoulos (El Greco), the famous painter of the 15^th and 16^th century.

 Then, we get back to the coach and make the round of the southern villages of Syros, with the beautiful beaches of Vari, Megas Yialos, Possidonia or Dellagratsia and Finikas where we will make a short stop. Then, we carry on our drive and visit the western villages Galissas, Danakos, Kini and back to Hermoupolis. Getting back to the port of Syros we carry on our excursion by foot to the historical centre of Hermoupolis. We visit the impressing Orthodox Cathedral of Saint Nicolas, the area “Vaporia” with neoclassical mansions – also called “little Venice” – and the monument of the unknown soldier.

     On the way back to the centre, we visit the museum of Cycladic Art, and the Archaeological Museum. The excursion is completed at the unique Town Hall of Hermoupolis at the central marble square Miaoulis, and passing the atmospheric shopping centre we are back to the port.
