Leaving the harbour area, you will drive along the picturesque eastern coastline, scattered with whitewashed villages, until you reach Lindos. This enchanting site of the most important of the three great cities of ancient times is guarded by medieval walls constructed by the Knights of Saint John in the 13th Century. Within, stands the ancients Acropolis of Lindos, on the brink of a precipice 400 feet above the sea.
The group will be guided at the slopes of the Acropolis without going up the stairs & entering to Acropolis. For those who wish, they can climb to the Acropolis & enter the site paying their own entrance fees Afterwards, passengers will have some free time in the village of Lindos and then continue the excursion with a guided, panoramic tour by bus around the Acropolis, admiring the magnificent bays and the fabulous view.
Depart from Lindos and via Monte Smith, where there will be a stop in order to take photo and return to the ship.
