After leaving landing pier by coach with the guide assistance, the passengers will be leaded through Piazza Municipio, Via Garibaldi, Piazza Cairoli ( the hearth of the town ), Via Cannizzaro ( the University and the Law Court ) and Corso Cavour for a short city tour. Stop at Cristo Re Church (view point)
Passengers will have bus sightseeing along the north coast of Messina, with views of Ganzirri lakes, Messina Strait and Capo Peloro, nearest point to mainland.- Afterwards passengers will return drive to Messina center.
Before returning to the ship, last stop will be made at the Cathedral square with its astronomical clock tower. Visit of the Cathedral interiors and the treasure rooms, where among other historical and artistic works can be seen the golden “Manta” of the Madonna of the Letter.
