Florence and Chianti Castle Full Day Tour

                Departure from Leghorn by A/C deluxe coach  the journey takes approximately 1,5 hours through the Tuscany countryside. , which is bathed by a diaphanous , amber light . The low surrounding hills are clad with olive groves, vineyards and cypresses which appear to have been landscaped to please the human eye.

                 After your free time , reboard the coach and drive through the wine road  to Greve in Chianti , the unufficial capital of the Chianti region . The town came to prominence in the 13^th and 14^th centuries as a major trading center. The town lies in the very heart of the Chianti wine area , surrounded by landscapes considered to be the most beautiful in the country. The Chianti region is one of the oldest wine regions in the world .

Walk in the Castle’s gardens and historical ageing cellars followed by a wine tasting and gastronomic specialities according to the most genuine Chianti tradition,  in one of the leading castles with a superb view of the surroundings valleys.

If time permits, you will have a quich look at the little village of GReve in chianti.

Reboard the coach and drive back to Leghorn.
