Aegina Island Tour
Depart the port of Aegina and enjoy the classical or panoramic tour with your Motorcoach and guide. You will start off your tour with an interesting visit to the Archeological Museum of Aegina which is Kolona. Afterwards you will then get the chance to visit Agios Nectarios Monastery. The Monastery is 6 km out of Aegina town, it is dedicated to Saint Nectarios, Greeces’ most recent Saint which is worshipped as a miraculous healer. Behind the Monastery, rises a rocky hill. A track leads to Paleochora which was the capital of the island under the Venetians and the Turks when the coast was vulnerable to piracy. The Venetian castle on the hilltop provides a good view of mount Zeus and the northwest coastline. Also visit the Temple of Aphaia which stands on the summit (alt.199m-653 ft) of wooded hill overlooking the bay of Agia Marina and the rocky coast. Afterwards return to your Motorcoach and drive back to ship.
