Pick up at the ship and departure by bus in the morning to Kastro village (ancient capital, Acropolis).Sightseeing of Kastro on foot (village for pedestrians only) and visit of the local archaeological museum. Departure by bus from Kastro to Artemonas (picturesque traditional village, neo classic mansions). Sightseeing of the village with visit of a traditional bakery and pastry shop, and a Byzantine church. Total walking time: 30 min.
Departure by bus (optional on foot via Pano Petali on the cobblestone footpaths - total walking time: 30 min) from Artemonas to Apollonia (capital of the island). Visit to a few Byzantine churches and of the local folklore museum and sightseeing on foot of Apollonia center. Departure by bus from Apollonia to Chrysopigi via the monastery of Panagia tou Vounou (offering panoramic view of Platy Yialos bay - beach - village). Panagia Chrysopigi is the protectress of the island, unique symbol of Sifnos, famous monastery for its architecture and position (built on a rocky promontory, cut off from the mainland by a narrow strip of sea).
