Dear partners of this year’s VAD Workshop,

after some days on sick leave, I wanted to take the chance to say a big and honest “THANK YOU” to all of you.

The event was a major success and I think in the past 6 years I’ve never experienced such a smooth event. To be honest, at first we were a little curious, how it will be to have the event in Athens. But now I would be more than happy to run other events there as well with great locations and a lot of professionalism. Please send my kindest regards especially to all the service personnel involved at Hilton and Balux Prive, they were all fabulous!

I am pleased to say that according to both tour leaders everything went well with the services in Athens and Igoumenitsa.

It seems that we did the right thing to change the lunch in Athens to the light lunch and we shall keep it also in the future!

Dear Panagioti,

All arrangement you have put in place for FIPSE-3 in Rhodes were perfect. Thank you very much. Here are some more detailed comments:

1.   All drivers were great

2.   The Lindos guide was the best. Many of the tour participants were constantly coming to me during the tour and making the remark that he was suburb. His level of knowledge about history and everything else, his explanations were at a professorial level.

3.   The dancing group was also superb. The made all participants stand up and dance. All male members also danced zembekiko !!!

Some details regarding our tour in Santorini that we all enjoyed!

In Santorini, we loved our guide Theolopolis, the Pirate.  HaHa.  We will be talking about him for quite awhile as he told us so many funny stories about Santorini (although we can't figure out which ones were true or not).  We especially loved our tour of Oia and Akrotiri.  He was the perfect guide for us, especially for the ruins of Akrotiri as he was so well educated and an former archaeologist at the site so he could give first hand knowledge about the ruins. We had time for a wine tasting at Santos winery which we thoroughly enjoyed and even were able to stop for a great Greek lunch near Pergos.  He made our visit on Santorini one we will always remember and will talk about for years to come.
Both guides greeted us promptly and the transportation was comfortable and just right.  We will recommend Achtypistours to anyone who visits Greece as the prices were reasonable and you worked with us to personalize our tour and the tour guides you provided were the best!

We thoroughly enjoyed our day in Rhodes!
In Rhodes, Maria was so informative and caring.  She was like a walking encyclopedia and provided so much information on the sites as well as the culture and people of Rhodes.  She was very giving of her time and even though we went over the time allotted to the tour, she didn't complain and was glad to accommodate us.  The tour was perfect and we loved the old city of Rhodes and the Acropolis of Lindos and were thrilled to be able to swim in St. Paul's Bay.  It was one of the most beautiful places we have seen.  We will always remember our tour on Rhodes with wonder and most of it was thanks to Maria.  She was an awesome tour guide and made our day so enjoyable.
