Enjoy a scenic drive through beautiful countryside and along the Riviera del Conero. This coastal area is famous for its wide, sandy beaches and dramatic, plunging cliff-sides that race you to the water’s edge. You’re headed Portonovo—an exceptionally pretty village—for a photo opportunity of the pretty village and beach area, including the Napoleonic fortress, built in the early 1800 and now functioning as a splendidly situated hotel (only visible from atop). After that you will proceed to the village of Sirolo, where you’ll visit the traditional local church. It is the centerpiece of this lovely medieval village that perches atop the brow of a hill with beautiful views over the sea.
