AN ALTERNATIVE DAY at THE ACROPOLIS MUSEUM, an “open minded” Museum
Inaugurated four years ago the New Acropolis Museum, a real jewel in Athens Centre, never ceases to “discover” innovative activities open to the public. Visitors without tight schedule, who want to combine their visit to the Museum with other interesting events, now can do it through the new program ‘A day at the Acropolis Museum’.
Activities for every taste
Among many others, such as stroll through the galleries, family backpacks and reading Wi–Fi area, there are organised, music events, for those who love small group performances, hosted in the Museum’s courtyard or at the ground floor lobby.
Every Saturday and every Sunday, the Virtual Reality Theatre projects from brief 3D videos interesting information about the Acropolis monuments.
And if anyone wishes to have a meal or a refreshment enjoying the unique panoramic view of the Acropolis, the restaurant of the second floor will reward his choice. Especially on a sunny day, and we have plenty of them here in Greece, when a visitor can sit outside on the restaurant balcony.
You can enjoy all above through a private tour to the Acropolis Museum and the Acropolis itself, offered all year round.
