DELOS ISLAND TOUR-(Direct Disembarkation)

Using the private tenders of your ship you will be taken to the ancient harbour of DELOS. Follow your guide as commence your ½ hour guided walking tour, marveling at the Agora and further on, the Sacred Way, which leads you to the Temple of Apollo. Continue on to view the remains of a Hellenistic Quarter with its harbours, water houses, luxurious villas such as the House of Cleopatra, the House of the Dolphin, the House of the Mask and the House of Dionyssos, as well as the remains of other notable quarters. Make note of their architecture and mosaic floors, which have amazingly survived over 2,500 years. End your walking tour by viewing the spectacular Avenue of Lions, where five Naxian marble beasts replicas from the 8^th Century BC crouch, vigilant guardians of the Sacred Lake, which stands today dry. Follow your guide to embark on the ship’s tenders. You will be taken back to your cruise ship, after the completion of the tour.
